Transaction Evidence Files
A planned or ongoing transfer, acquisition, investment, disposal, distribution or asset conversion may require more than the underlying legal agreements and payment records. In complex cases, those documents may confirm individual steps without explaining the full transaction logic: who the parties are, why the transaction is occurring, where the funds or assets originated, how value moves between accounts or entities, and how each stage connects to the next.
This becomes particularly important where the transaction is significant, cross-border, unusual, involves multiple counterparties or jurisdictions, includes crypto or other non-standard assets, or is likely to attract enhanced scrutiny from a bank or other regulated institution.
NORDVANDE reconstructs the transaction as a complete factual sequence. The work may connect the commercial rationale, parties, ownership, assets, contractual documents, payment flows, Source of Funds, relevant Source of Wealth and supporting evidence into one coherent structure. The objective is to identify inconsistencies, unsupported steps or missing links before they create avoidable uncertainty during institutional review.
The result is a reviewer-readable evidence file that explains not only what documents exist, but how the transaction actually works and what evidence supports each material stage.
Potential output
Depending on the nature of the transaction, the final work product may include:
a dated transaction chronology,
counterparty and ownership mapping,
asset and transaction structure,
payment trail,
flow-of-funds analysis,
Source of Funds references,
supporting document index,
reconciliation notes and
an explanatory memorandum linking the evidence to the transaction narrative.
Where relevant, the file may also identify the economic rationale for the transaction, connections between related entities or accounts, jurisdictional considerations, crypto or digital-asset movements, and areas where additional legal, tax or specialist input may be required.
Any unresolved gaps, inconsistencies or unsupported elements are stated clearly rather than presented as established facts. This allows the institution to distinguish between verified evidence, supported explanation and matters that remain open.
The purpose is to give a regulated institution a clearer and more structured basis for assessing the transaction. NORDVANDE does not control the institution’s decision and does not guarantee onboarding, payment release, transaction execution, account acceptance or any other institutional outcome.
