EU Bankability Profile
EU Bankability Profile
An individual or business is preparing to open an account with an EU-based bank and needs an independent assessment of how its profile is likely to be viewed from a banking, AML/KYC and enhanced due diligence perspective.
NORDVANDE reviews the client as a bank is likely to review them:
identity and ownership,
business activity,
Source of Wealth and Source of Funds,
transaction profile,
jurisdictions,
corporate structure,
sanctions and PEP exposure,
adverse media,
crypto involvement,
documentation quality and any other factors that may affect onboarding.
The objective is to identify potential obstacles before a live application is submitted or before an existing onboarding process becomes difficult. Where weaknesses, inconsistencies or documentation gaps are identified, NORDVANDE sets out what should be clarified, evidenced or strengthened.
The second stage is practical preparation. NORDVANDE helps assemble and structure the client’s financial-compliance file so that the bank receives a coherent, accurate and well-supported picture of the client rather than fragmented information provided reactively across multiple requests.
The purpose is to improve readiness for EU bank onboarding and maximize the strength of the client’s application within the limits of the underlying facts and evidence.
Potential output
Depending on the client and the intended banking relationship, the work product may include:
a bankability assessment,
identified risk and onboarding issues,
documentation-gap analysis,
ownership and corporate-structure review,
Source of Wealth and Source of Funds assessment,
expected transaction-profile analysis,
sanctions / PEP / adverse-media findings,
crypto-related considerations and a prioritized remediation plan.
Where appropriate, NORDVANDE may then prepare or coordinate an institution-ready onboarding file containing a structured client narrative, evidence map, supporting-document index, ownership and financial-history materials, reconciliations and explanations addressing the issues identified during the assessment.
The objective is to put the client in the strongest defensible position before or during an EU bank onboarding process. NORDVANDE cannot determine a bank’s risk appetite and does not guarantee account opening, onboarding approval or any other institutional outcome.
